New Google cookie-banner requirements (EU User Consent Policy) — effective 31 July 2024
saldia has updated the cookie banner functionality to meet the basic requirements of Google Consent V2.
- Affects all saldia shops running Google Ads
- Must be implemented by 31 July 2024 at the latest to avoid disadvantages with Google Ads and remain compliant (see https://www.google.com/about/company/user-consent-policy/ )
Required settings:
- The saldiaApp "Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager" is required
- The cookie banner must be enabled in the settings of your saldia product. You'll find the option in the backend of the respective product under settings.
