Swiss Made Software and AI at saldia
saldia develops and operates its software in Switzerland. What that means in relation to artificial intelligence is what we disclose here.
- How we use the models
- We use established foundation models that are integrated directly into our products. We do not operate our own separately trained base model.
- AI technologies in use
- Large language models (LLMs) and generative AI for text, code and website generation, AI image generation and editing, AI-assisted invoice recognition, and natural-language hybrid search across structured business data (retrieval-based methods, RAG).
- Origin and type of the models
- Commercial closed-source models from established providers — the Claude family from Anthropic, GPT models from OpenAI and Gemini models from Google — accessed through secured interfaces (APIs).
- Hosting
- Our applications and our customers’ data are hosted in Switzerland (see the “swiss hosting” label). For AI features, the requests required for them are transmitted to the model providers’ data centres; these are located outside Switzerland.
- Training and fine-tuning
- We do not train our own models and we do not fine-tune. We steer the behaviour of the AI through structured prompts, system instructions and retrieval. Customer data is not used to train AI models.
